RAMALLAH, October 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate installed on the main road near Al-Jalazoun refugee camp, north of Ramallah, on Monday.
Local sources reported that the closure forced hundreds of vehicles to take dirt roads and detour routes to enter or leave Ramallah, resulting in severe traffic congestion.
In the same context, occupation forces also closed the Atara military checkpoint, located north of the city, which further contributed to the heavy traffic congestion.
