BETHLEHEM, June 17, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli colonist on Tuesday blocked a main road in the town of Tuqu’, located southeast of Bethlehem, local sources reported.
According to a local source speaking to WAFA, the colonists, accompanied by a bulldozer, obstructing the main road at the Khirbet al-Deir area with concrete blocks. Later, Israeli occupation forces reinforced the blockade by placing large rocks.
The road is a key route used by residents coming from southern Bethlehem and Hebron governorates, especially when Israeli forces close the main entrance to Tuqu’.
