RAMALLAH, July 22, 2017 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were shot and injured on Saturday by Israeli soldiers during separate clashes that broke out in the Ramallah area and the southern Gaza Strip, said local sources.
Palestinians throughout the West Bank and Gaza are demonstrating in support of al-Aqsa mosque and to express their rejection to Israeli violations and measures at the holy site as tension continues to rise in Jerusalem.
A Palestinian was reportedly shot with live ammunition during clashes that erupted in the town of al-Mughayyir to the east of Ramallah. He was transferred to hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, another Palestinian was shot and injured during similar clashes that took place to the east of Khan Younis area, in the southern Gaza Strip. The severity of his injury is still unknown.
