PARIS, July 19, 2017 (WAFA) – The government of France Wednesday expressed concern over rising tension in Jerusalem and al-Aqsa mosque, said a statement issued by the French Foreign Ministry.
France called on all sides to stay calm and to refrain from taking any steps that would further heighten the tension between them.
The statement warned that any continued escalation would be fraught with risks that threaten stability in the region.
