BETHLEHEM, October 8, 2016 (WAFA) – Residents of Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem forced on Saturday an Israeli army unit to leave the camp without arresting anyone following fierce confrontations, according to Palestinian security sources.
They told WAFA that an army unit raided the parts of the camp on the main road and broke into homes and shops before residents confronted them with stones.
The soldiers fired back tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets to disperse the camp residents. No injuries were reported.
The unit left the camp without arresting anyone, said the sources.
