RAMALLAH, July 31, 2016 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine decreased in June 2016 by 1.60% compared to May 2016 and reached 100.31, Sunday said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
PPI for locally-consumed products decreased by 1.73% in June 2016 compared to the previous month. PPI for exported products also decreased by 0.25% for the same period compared to May 2016.
The changes of PPI was traced back to changes in prices of electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply, which decreased by 12.74%.
