PARIS, June 29, 2025 (WAFA) – French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has strongly condemned the deadly incidents at food distribution operations in the Gaza Strip, calling them a “disgrace, a shame, and a violation of humanity.”

In remarks made on Saturday, Barrot emphasized that there is no justification for the continuation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, which has left tens of thousands of civilians in dire humanitarian conditions.

His comments come amid reports from the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), whose spokesperson Adnan Abu Hasna confirmed that approximately 70,000 Palestinian children in Gaza are suffering from severe health issues due to malnutrition.

Abu Hasna also noted that the agency has provided one million psychological counseling sessions for children traumatized by the ongoing Israeli assaults in the Gaza Strip.
