HEBRON, November 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained 10 Palestinian teachers today from the Jinba Mixed Basic School in Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron, and seized their vehicle.
Local sources said the forces detained the teachers and their vehicle before transferring them to the Jinba military camp.
In a related development, Israeli colonists prevented Medical Relief doctors from reaching villages in Masafer Yatta and Khirbet al-Majaz.
Israeli forces and colonists have been closing roads and preventing teachers and students from reaching schools in Masafer Yatta and its surrounding areas, in an effort to pressure them to leave their villages and disrupt the educational process.
Separately, Israeli occupation forces seized a herd of 20 camels belonging to a local Palestinian herder in the Yatta wilderness area, south of Hebron.
