NEW YORK, November 1, 2026 (WAFA) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said it documented 397 attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians across the occupied West Bank during October, marking the highest monthly figure recorded since monitoring began in 2006.
In a report issued on Sunday, OCHA noted that the figure did not include the final five days of October. It said 62 attacks were recorded between October 20 and 26, targeting 49 Palestinian communities across the West Bank. Thirty-eight of those attacks were linked to the olive harvest season.
The report also documented injuries to 57 Palestinians, including nine children, during the same week as a result of attacks by Israeli colonists and forces across the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem. Of those injured, 23 were harmed in colonist attacks, while 34 were injured by Israeli forces through gunfire and physical assaults.
