43-year-old man assaulted, injured by Israeli forces in Jenin

JENIN, June 29, 2025 (WAFA) – A 43-year-old Palestinian man was injured early Sunday morning after being assaulted by Israeli occupation forces in the northern West Bank province of Jenin, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Medical crews transferred the injured man to a nearby hospital for treatment after he was beaten by Israeli soldiers near the bypass road east of Jenin city, medical sources and witnesses reported.

On Saturday, Israeli occupation forces demolished a residential home in the Jenin refugee camp. The camp has witnessed near-daily demolitions since Israeli authorities announced a plan on June 9 to demolish approximately 95 homes in the area.

Today marks the 160th consecutive day of the ongoing Israeli military offensive in Jenin city and its refugee camp. The ongoing assault has so far resulted in the killing of 40 Palestinians and the detention of dozens more, alongside widespread destruction of homes, infrastructure, and private property.
