Israel Detains Six Palestinians, Summons Four in West Bank

HEBRON, February 7, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday detained six Palestinians, including three minors, and summoned four others from across the West Bank districts, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron city, armed soldiers detained three Palestinians, including a doctor, after raiding and searching their homes. They were identified as Dr. Amjad al-Hamori, who is also an ex-detainee, Islam al-Karki, 18, and Mo’ath Shabaneh, 18.

In Hebron’s town of Sa’ir, forces raided the home of Nemer Froukh, the uncle of Fadi al-Froukh who was shot dead by the Israeli army in early November 2015, and detained his three sons. They were identified as Mojahed, 16, Qosay, 15, and Sa’ed, 11. The three were led to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, forces handed Shadi Ghalmeh, a local from Hebron who spent 18 years in Israeli jails, a notice ordering him to appear before the Israeli intelligence for interrogation.

In Nablus, forces summoned a local from the village of Asira ash-Shamaliya to the north, for interrogation. He was identified as Asem Mesbah.

In Bethlehem, forces summoned two youths from Dheisheh Refugee Camp for questioning.

Locals Sami Hajajreh, 35, and Nedal Obaid, 24, were handed summons ordering to turn themselves over to the Israeli intelligence at Gush Etzion settlement bloc to the south.
