Weather Forecast: Region Remains Under Affect of Low Cold Front

RAMALLAH, February 7, 2016 (WAFA) – Cloudy and extremely cold weather conditions are expected on Sunday, as the region remains under the affect of the low cold front. Heavy rain showers, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and hail, are expected to over different areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly and moderate to active at times. Sea waves are high.

A slight rise in temperature is expected on Monday, yet remaining cloudy and generally cold. Possible scattered rain showers are expected to fall over some areas.

Cold weather conditions are expected to persist on Tuesday, despite a further rise in Temperatures.

Cloudy, and dusty weather conditions are expected to prevail on Wednesday, with a drop in temperature and possible rainfall, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and hail, over central and southern areas.

The weather department warned about the possibility of flooding in low areas, high winds, low horizontal visibility and slippery roads due to falling hail.
