RAMALLAH,
June 15, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli Forces detained 11 Palestinians, including a
mentally-disabled young man, from various West Bank districts, said security
sources and Palestinian Prisoners Club.
Israeli
police raided the East Jerusalem neighborhood of al-‘Issawiya, where they
detained three Palestinians after breaking into their homes.
The
detainees were identified as Bashar Mahmoud, Nasim Mhaisen and Muhammad Mousa.
They
also re-detained another Palestinian after physically assaulting him in the
Silwan neighborhood of ‘Ayn al-Louza to the south of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
The
detainee was identified as Suhaib al-A‘war, 18, who had been released at the
beginning of this year after being sentenced to 21 months in jail.
Meanwhile
in the Bethlehem district, Israeli forces raided Taqou town to the east of the
city, where they detained three Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking
their homes.
The
detainees were identified as Shadi, 27, and Murad Hajahja, 20, and Feras
al-Badan, 20.
In
Jenin, a Palestinian was reportedly detained by Israeli police after crossing
into Israel.The detainee was identified as Tareq Abu Tabikh, 19.
In
the meantime in Hebron district, forces raided al-‘Arrub refugee camp to the
north of the city, where they detained a Palestinian after storming his home. The
detainee was identified as Islam Mhaisin, 18.
Israeli
army units also detained another mentally disabled Palestinian. The detainee
was identified as Fadel al-Karaki.
Israeli
soldiers also raided Surif town to the north of the city, where they broke and
wrecked havoc into a local home. The homeowner was identified as Ayman Hmaidat.
Army
troops also raided Yatta and Adh-Dhahiriya towns and set up checkpoints at the
northern entrance of Hebron as well as the entrances of Sa‘ir, where they
stopped and inspected Palestinian registered vehicles and examined passengers’
identification cards.
In
the meantime in Nablus district, forces stormed ‘Asira Ash-Shamaliya town,
where they detained a Palestinian after breaking into his home. The detainee
was identified as Bara’a Jara‘ba, 21, who is a sophomore student in An-Najah
University.
