GAZA, July 8, 2014 – (WAFA) –
Israeli air raids on Gaza Strip continued Tuesday unabated as warplanes
targeted several civilians’ houses across the strip, inflicting injuries among
civilians and causing extensive property damage.
Israeli surveillance drones fired warning shots
toward houses which were shortly after targeted and completely bombed by F-16
fighting jets’ missiles.
F-16 fighter jets targeted a house belonging
to Abu Duqqa in ‘Absan to the east of Khan Younes, completely destroying it,
injuring several civilians and causing extensive damage to nearby houses.
F-16 jets also targeted a house
belonging to Al-Hashash family in Rafah, injuring several civilians.
Palestinian medics said that at
least 16 Palestinian civilians were injured as a result of Israeli raids on houses
in southern Gaza Strip.
F-16 fighter jets also pounded a
house belonging to Al-‘Abadla family in Al-Qarara to the northeast of Khan
Younes. The house was completely destroyed and nine Palestinian civilians
sustained wounds. They were taken to Khan Younes public hospital, where medics
described their conditions as moderate.
Warplanes also pounded targets in
central Rafah and the strip, injuring two civilians who were admitted into a
Rafah hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions were described as critical.
Warplanes also pounded farmlands
at Salah Ad-Din Street in Deir Al-Balah, causing extensive damage to nearby
houses.
They also pounded farmlands in
At-Tuffah neighborhood to the northeast of Deir Al-Balah, causing damages to
nearby houses.
Warplanes fired three rockets at
farmlands in As-Safina and Al-Waha to the northwest of Gaza city, causing
extensive property damage and spreading panic among civilians.
Warplanes also pounded locations
and targets in Rafah, firing at least three missiles at farmlands in
Al-Hashashin area.
They also pounded farmlands and
locations to the east of Beit Lahia as well as in At-Tuffah and Az-Zaytoun neighborhoods and Ash-Shaja‘iya
to the north and east of Gaza city. No injuries were reported.
They also targeted a location
near Masʻab Bin ‘Amir mosque in Az-Zaytoun neighborhood, causing extensive
damage to nearby property.
