Weather: Scattered rain showers over most areas

RAMALLAH, April 2, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the country will continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions. The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy, warm, and occasionally dusty, with scattered rain expected over most areas. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly, moderate to brisk, with occasional strong gusts. Sea waves will be moderate to high.

During the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold in most areas, with a continued chance of light, scattered rain in some areas. Winds will be westerly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be low to moderate.

Tomorrow, Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear, with a slight chance of light, scattered rain in some areas during the morning hours. Temperatures will decrease. Winds will be northwesterly, moderate. Sea waves will be moderate.

The weather forecast predicts generally clear skies for next Saturday with little change in temperatures. Winds will be light to moderate, blowing from the northwest to northeast. Sea waves will be low.

On Sunday, the weather will be generally clear with a drop in temperatures, becoming relatively cold in the mountains and pleasant in other areas. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming brisk, blowing from the southwest to northwest. Sea waves will be low to moderate.

The PMD warned citizens, particularly on Thursday, of the risk of increased dust concentration in the air, slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall, reduced horizontal visibility, and high sea waves, as the country is affected by unstable weather conditions.
