RAMALLAH, February 25, 2026 (WAFA) – A report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) showed a slight decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings, Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank during January, 2026.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 118.75 with a slight decrease of 0.04% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 1.06%. While, the prices of raw material, and the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during January 2026 compared with the previous month.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank* reached 117.63 with a slight decrease of 0.02% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.98%. While, the prices of raw material slightly increased by 0.01%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during January 2026 compared with the previous month.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank reached 115.83 with a slight decrease of 0.01% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (Base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 1.05%. While, the prices of raw material slightly increased by 0.05%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during January 2026 compared with the previous month.
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank reached 111.93 with a decrease of 0.58% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (Base month December 2008=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance decreased by 2.67%, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.70%, and the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.48%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during January 2026 compared with the previous month.
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank reached 125.15 with a decrease of 0.20% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (Base month January 2010=100).
Water Networks Cost Index reached 130.82 with a decrease of 0.33%. While, Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 112.68 with an increase of 0.13% during January 2026 compared with December 2025.
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank reached 113.26 with a decrease of 0.56% during January 2026 compared with December 2025 (Base month January 2010=100).
