RAMALLAH, September 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists this evening attacked the home of Palestinian resident Abdul Rahim Hajj Mohammad in the town of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, amid confrontations that broke out between Palestinian residents and colonists in the vicinity of the town, l.

Sources said that the colonists attacked the home as part of repeated assaults carried out by colonists from an illegal outpost established east of al-Mughayyir, targeting Palestinian residents, their homes, and property.

The sources added that confrontations broke out at the entrance to al-Mughayyir between young Palestinian men and colonists, who fled toward the colonial outpost, while colonists opened live fire at the young men in the eastern part of the town.

Al-Mughayyir has witnessed repeated attacks by colonists, accompanied by raids, military measures, and the closure of the town’s entrance. On September 26, the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission documented an attack by colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, on an ambulance and the theft of agricultural equipment from a sheep farm west of the town, in addition to the raiding of a home and the firing of tear gas canisters.

Israeli occupation forces had earlier closed the main entrance to al-Mughayyir, while colonists were present in areas east of the town and carried out provocative acts on Palestinian-owned land, amid escalating attacks against residents and their property.
