RAMALLAH, December 22, 2025 (WAFA) – Deadly Israeli attacks continue in Gaza despite the ceasefire, as Israel has killed 401 Palestinians in the Strip, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed since the genocide began to 70,925, according to the Government Communication Center at the Prime Minister’s Office in Situation Report No. 67, covering the period between December 15 and December 22, 2025, until 08:00 a.m.
Deadly Israeli Attacks Continue in Gaza Despite Ceasefire: Underscoring the fragility and persistent Israeli violation of the ceasefire, Israeli occupation forces continued attacks across Gaza, killing and injuring civilians in multiple areas, including a Ministry of Education training center sheltering displaced families, while unexploded ordnance, severe winter conditions, and ongoing access restrictions continue to claim more lives and place countless others at grave risk.
Winter Exposes Gaza’s Humanitarian Catastrophe: Heavy rain and freezing temperatures, combined with Israel’s blockade and restrictions on shelter and medical supplies, have pushed displaced families into life-threatening conditions. At least two infants have died from hypothermia this month, while shelters collapse and humanitarian response capacity remains severely constrained.
Man-Made Hunger Persists in Gaza: UNRWA warns that 1.6 million Palestinians in Gaza continue to face acute food insecurity, with the ongoing blockade deliberately sustaining famine conditions.
Escalating Demolitions and Access Restrictions in Northern West Bank: Israeli occupation authorities issued new demolition orders in Nur Shams refugee camp, threatening at least 25 buildings with imminent destruction starting 18 December, impacting and risking the displacement of hundreds of already forcibly displaced Palestinians.
Israeli Violence in Occupied West Bank Claims More Palestinian Lives: Israeli occupation forces and settlers intensified attacks across the occupied West Bank, resulting in the killing of multiple Palestinians, including three teenagers and a 22-year-old man, in indiscriminate shootings and raids.
Israel denies Canadian delegation, including six MPs, entry into West Bank for 'security reasons': Israeli occupation authorities denied entry to a Canadian delegation of 30 people, including six Members of Parliament, at Al-Karameh Crossing despite valid electronic travel authorizations.
