BEIRUT, September 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces continued to intensify their attacks on Lebanon on Friday, particularly across southern villages and towns, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling and demolitions that targeted residential areas, homes, a school and infrastructure.

According to Lebanon's National News Agency, Israeli attacks were concentrated in the districts of Tyre, Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil and Marjayoun.

In the Tyre district, Israeli warplanes carried out two consecutive airstrikes on the town of Mansouri, targeting infrastructure and residential areas. The strikes were accompanied by powerful explosions targeting infrastructure and residential neighborhoods, causing tremors that were felt in Tyre and surrounding villages.

The agency reported that Israeli forces demolished most of the public school in Mansouri, leaving only a small section standing. Demolitions continued later in the day, with several homes destroyed amid artillery shelling.

In areas around Nabatieh, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while Ali al-Taher hill on the outskirts of the town came under heavy and concentrated artillery fire, according to the agency.

In the Bint Jbeil district, Israeli forces carried out demolitions on a hill in the town of Baraachit and shelled Wadi al-Hujeir. 

In the Marjayoun district, an Israeli explosion overnight in the Ali al-Taher hill caused rocks and debris to fall onto the Khardali road, completely blocking it. Lebanon's National News Agency said the road was rendered impassable to vehicles due to the falling rocks.

Meanwhile, Israeli drones flew at low altitude over the Lebanese capital, Beirut, extending toward the southern suburbs, amid the continuing Israeli attacks in the south.
