GAZA, September 12, 2026 (WAFA) – A pregnant Palestinian woman died on Saturday from injuries sustained after being shot by Israeli forces south of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent said the death of Iman Shalouf and her unborn child, who succumbed to injuries sustained from Israeli forces' gunfire three days ago.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the death toll has surged to 1,359, with 4,571 Palestinians injured and 831 bodies recovered. Hundreds of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews continue to be unable to reach them.

Additionally, the death toll from Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has risen to73,670, with 174,682 Palestinians injured, since October 7, 2023.
