GAZA, September 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Four Palestinian civilians were injured on Saturday when Israeli warplanes struck a tent near the Shahd Rest Area in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier today, a pregnant woman and her fetus succumbed to wounds sustained three days ago from Israeli forces' gunfire south of Khan Yunis.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the death toll has surged to 1,359, with 4,571 Palestinians injured and 831 bodies recovered.
Additionally, the death toll from Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip has risen to73,670, with 174,682 Palestinians injured, since October 7, 2023. Hundreds of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and rescue crews continue to be unable to reach them.
