TULKAREM, June 8, 2025 (WAFA) – For the third consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces continued the demolition of residential buildings in Tulkarem refugee camp, as their military onslaught on the city of Tulkarem and its camp entered its 133rd consecutive day, and the 120th day on Nur Shams camp amid a significant escalation on the ground.

WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli bulldozers today resumed the destruction of dozens of residential buildings in the camp. The demolitions are part of an Israeli plan to raze 106 structures across Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, including 58 buildings in Tulkarem camp alone. These include over 250 housing units and dozens of commercial establishments.

Residents documented the extensive destruction in the targeted area, where an entire residential zone was reduced to rubble. Many homes were completely destroyed, others severely damaged, and debris covered large sections of the area, affecting surrounding buildings.

The ongoing Israeli aggression has so far resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant, along with dozens of injuries and detentions. The onslaught has also caused massive destruction to infrastructure, homes, commercial properties, and vehicles.

According to the latest data, the escalation has forcibly displaced over 5,000 families from the two camps—more than 25,000 residents.

At least 400 homes have been completely destroyed, and 2,573 have been partially damaged. Meanwhile, the entrances to both camps remain sealed off with earth mounds, rendering them nearly devoid of life.
