MUSCAT, January 24, 2025 (WAFA) – The Sultanate of Oman condemned on Friday the ongoing Israeli aggression against the city of Jenin, in the northern occupied West Bank.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its condemnation of the onslaught launched by Israeli occupation forces on Jenin, which has resulted in the killing of innocent civilians and the systematic destruction of infrastructure and properties.

The Sultanate of Oman urged the international community to take immediate action to halt these ongoing assaults and ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable, in accordance with its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to uphold justice and alleviate the suffering of defenseless civilians across all occupied Palestinian territories.

The statement also reaffirmed Oman’s unwavering commitment to advocating for a just and lasting peace based on United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
