TULKARM, October 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday stormed the vicinity of the Thabet Thabet Government Hospital in the city of Tulkarm, according to eyewitnesses.
They told WAFA that the occupying forces showed up at the family home of Mohammad Ibrahim Shehadeh, Secretary of the Fatah movement in Tulkarm refugee camp, and ransacked its contents.
Israeli special forces had abducted Shehadeh, 46, who is currently in Israeli imprisonment, on September 14, after firing live ammunition at his vehicle in the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarm.
The eyewitnesses added that occupation forces stormed a residential building near al-Alimi roundabout in the western part of the city and searched its interior. No arrests were reported.
The occupation forces have continued their offensive against the city of Tulkarm and the neighboring refugee camps of Tulkarm and Nur Shams for the 631st consecutive day, amid a tight siege accompanied by arrest campaigns, assaults on citizens, and the destruction of property and infrastructure.
