BETHLEHEM, Thursday, April 25, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated this evening during an Israeli military raid into the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
Head of Husan village council, Jamal Sabatin, said Israeli forces closed the entrances of the village before storming it and attacked residents with stun grenades and tear gas canisters, causing several people to suffocate due to tear gas inhalation.
The official said the occupation forces informed the villagers that the entrances to the village would be closed daily at 3:00 pm until further notice, stressing that this comes as part of the occupation’s measures aimed at tightening the noose on residents by obstructing their movement.
