NABLUS, August 20, 2026 (WAFA) — Three Palestinians were injured after being beaten, while Israeli occupation forces detained six others during raids on Nablus city and the towns of Salem, east of the city, and Bazariya, northwest of Nablus.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews treated three Palestinians who were injured after being beaten during the raid on Nablus city. They were transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Local sources said Israeli occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in the city, searched homes and ransacked their contents, and assaulted three Palestinians, detaining two of them: Saeed Suleiman Al-Shreideh from University Street and Muhannad Al-Araishi from the Rafidia area.

The sources added that Israeli military jeeps raided Salem, east of Nablus, searched homes and ransacked their contents, and detained three Palestinians: Mohammad Abdullah Khader Shtayyeh, Khamis Karkari, and Mohammad Khamis Karkari.

The sources also said an Israeli army force raided Bazariya village and detained Yasser Fidaa Salem after raiding and searching his home.
