JERUSALEM, August 20, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli Temple groups today called for a protest in occupied Jerusalem next Thursday, August 27, 2026, demanding that Al-Aqsa Mosque be reopened to colonists for incursions on Saturdays.
The Jerusalem Governorate said in a brief statement that the Temple groups, joined by rabbis, heads of religious schools, Knesset members and ministers in the Israeli government, called for a protest in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday, August 27, demanding the reopening of Al-Aqsa Mosque to colonists for incursions on Saturdays.
