Moussa Calls for Stopping Israeli Military Campaign against Gaza Strip &West Bank
CAIRO, January 5, 2008 (WAFA)-Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa denounced on Saturday the international silence on the Israeli atrocious crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Moussa called on the Quartet, the UN Security Council to immediately intervene and stop the Israeli military campaign in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
"How could the peace efforts and negotiations process launched in Annopolis bring success on eve of the continued Israeli killings , assassinations, demolishing, seizing lands, humiliation Palestinians and imposing siege and starvation," Moussa said.
Moussa called for Arab and international move to stop Israeli violations and lift the imposed siege on the Gaza Strip.
