IOF Arrests 14 Citizens in WB
NABLUS, May 1, 2007, (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Tuesday 14 citizens in the West Bank(WB) cities of Nablus, Bethlehem, Tulkarem and Qalqiliya, security sources said.
They told WAFA that mass of Israeli soldiers stormed Nablus city and Balata refugee camp amid intensive fire shooting and arrested six citizens, leading them into an unknown location.
In Tulkarem, Israeli soldiers, backed by seven military jeeps, stormed Qiffeen town, north Tulkarem and arrested four citizens, leading them into an unknown spot, witnesses said.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers stormed Bethlehem city, conducted a wide search campaign into citizens' houses and arrested three citizens, spreading a state of fear and panic among women and children, witnesses told WAFA.
In Qalqiliya, Israeli soldiers erected a mobile checkpoint between Qalqiliya and its nearby villages and arrested Abed Al-Haleem Mara'ba 24, leading him into an unknown fate.
