NABLUS, April 30, 2007, (WAFA)-The Nafha Society for the Defense of Prisoners' Rights said Monday that female prisoners being incarcerated in Israeli jails have been suffering harsh conditions and maltreatment.
In a report , it said that 105 prisoners in Hasharon Israeli jail live in a dire situation, where some of them suffer from different kinds of chronic diseases like diabetes, stomach ulcers and cardiac problems. The prisoner Amal Joma'a suffers from kidney failure, Faten Daraghma suffers from severe pains and Neda al-Ramhi suffers from eye corneal involvement.
" We were lift without medicine or medical treatment. The prisoner Neda may become blind due to deliberate medical negligence," the prisoner Ahlam al-Tamimi told Nafha Society.
