President Heads to Amman after a European Tour
CAIRO, April 28, 2007, (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas concluded Saturday a European tour aimed at assembling support to the unity government and the Arab initiative.
The tour included Austria, Switzerland, France, Poland, Greece, Italy, Sweden and Bulgaria.
Following his tour, the President met with his Egyptian counterpart, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, and discussed with him the results emerged from his tour in addition to the latest developments in the Palestinian territories in light of the Israeli military escalation against the Palestinian people.
The President is expected to arrive to the Jordanian capital, Amman, this afternoon.
