President Meets with Italian Counterpart in Rome
ROME, April 24, 2007, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas met Tuesday the President of Italy,MR. Giorgio Napolitano, in the Presidential Palace in Rome.
President briefed MR. Napolitano about his tour in the EU for mobilizing the international support for the Palestinian Government of national unity and Arab Peace initiative.
Abbas asserted on the end of the international siege imposed against the Palestinian people and reviving a meaningful peace process aims at establishing the Palestinian state on the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel in 1967.
