PLO: Israel's Military Escalation is an Escape of Peace Process' Merits
RAMALLAH, April 23, 2007, (WAFA)-PLO National and International Relations Department said Monday that Israel government's escalation against the Palestinian people is an escape of the peace process' merits.
In a statement, it said the continued Israeli acts of assassinations and bombardment in Gaza, Jenin and Nablus is a clear evident that there is no an Israeli partner in the peace process.
The Israeli government endeavors to escalate violence, foil the national unity government and undermine President Mahmoud Abbas' efforts and international tour to lift the embargo imposed on the Palestinian people.
It called on the UN and international bodies to halt the Israeli aggression and pressurize Israeli government's occupation to start unconditional comprehensive negotiations to solve the Palestinian cause in accordance with the international legitimacy resolutions.
