Al-Dameer Warns against Environmental Disaster in Gaza Strip
GAZA, April 19, 2007, (WAFA)-Al-Dameer Human Rights Association warned Thursday against environmental disaster in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, it said that Gaza city is sinking of garbage after the municipalities services were suspended due to the workers' strike for not have not been paid their salaries since a year ago.
" Pills of rubbish were spread on pavements ,in front of restaurants, at junctures of streets and before hospitals and health centers," according to the statement.
It called for an immediate solution for workers' strike and to spread diseases in the city.
