At Least 22 Citizens Arrested by IOF in WB
JENIN, April 18, 2007, (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Wednesday at least 22 citizens in the West Bank cities of Jenin, Nablus, Hebron and Tulkarem, security sources said.
They told WAFA that Israeli troops, backed by 15 military jeeps, stormed al-Zababdah town and Jalboun village, north Jenin district, conducted a house-to-house search campaign into citizens' houses and arrested twelve citizens, leading them into an unknown location.
In Nablus, Israeli soldiers stormed Balata and Asker refugee camps, launched a savage search campaign into houses, arrested four citizens, spreading a state of fear and panic among citizens, sources said.
In Hebron, the IOF stormed al-Arroub refugee camp and arrested four citizens, leading them into an unknown spot, witnesses said.
In Tulkarem, Israeli soldiers arrested the youth Fares Qasem 29, at al-Nafaq military checkpoint and led him into an unknown fate.
