CAIRO, January 17, 2007, (WAFA)-Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Mr. Amr Moussa stated that solving the Palestinian cause in accordance with Arab and international legitimacy is the essence to end tensions in the region.

Moussa told reporters in Cairo that discussions are focusing on establishing a Palestinian state on the land occupied in 1967, based on international resolutions and the principle land for peace and not on a temporary state.

He affirmed that solving the Arab-Israeli conflict and the Palestinian cause is the essence of ending tensions in the region.
