RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 13, 2020 (WAFA) – Very hot conditions are expected today as temperature continues to rise to become 7°C above the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 41°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Very hot weather conditions are expected tomorrow, Thursday, and on Friday as temperature becomes 9°C above the average.
Another rise in temperature is expected on Saturday to become 11°C above the average, said the PMD, which warned people against long exposure to sunlight during the peak hours between 11 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon and from lighting fire in dry grass areas.
