JERUSALEM, April 1, 2026 (WAFA) – An 18-year-old Palestinian youth was injured Wednesday night during an Israeli military incursion on Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said that Israeli forces, escorted military vehicles and armored bulldozers, stormed the camp, triggering confrontations with Palestinian youths.
Israeli soldiers reportedly fired live ammunition and tear gas during the incursion.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews treated an 18-year-old youth for a foot injury sustained during the confrontations with Israeli forces in Qalandiya camp.
Earlier today, the Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli forces had shut down the Qalandiya checkpoint in both directions.
