RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 12, 2020 (WAFA) – Temperature significantly rises today to become 5°C above the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Very hot weather conditions are expected tomorrow, Wednesday, and on Thursday approaching 7°C above the seasonal average, and rises again on Friday to become 9°C above the average, said the PMD, which warned people against long exposure to sunlight during the peak hours between 11 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.
