JERICHO, Sunday, May 3, 2020 (WAFA) – 500 passengers representing the first batch of Palestinians who have gone stranded outside the country as a result of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, arrived today at the Karama Border Crossing in Jericho, near the border with Jordan.
Col. Mustafa Dawabsheh, director of the Karama Border Crossing police, said the crews of the Ministry of Health embarked on conducting the necessary coronavirus tests to the passengers before they can return home for a 14-day precautionary quarantine.
He said 2000 other stranded Palestinian passengers are scheduled to return back to Palestine in groups during the following days.
