RAMALLAH, Sunday, May 3, 2020 (WAFA) – Spring weather conditions and clear skies are expected today with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light to moderate, northwesterly winds and low to medium sea waves are expected.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 13°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 24°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 19°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature is expected on Monday.
On Tuesday, a significant drop in temperature is expected to become 5°C below the annual average with scattered rain on most areas, said the PMD.
Temperature drops further on Wednesday approaching 8°C below annual average. Rain is expected on most areas until the afternoon hours.
People are warned on Tuesday and Wednesday about the risks of speedy winds, slippery roads and the low horizontal visibility on roads due to the formation of fog and low clouds.
