RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 (WAFA) – Palestine confirmed Wednesday evening six new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the occupied territories to 507.
Speaking in the daily evening briefing in Rmallah, Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh announced that a Palestinian tested positive for COVID-19 after coming in contact with his brother, who works as a nurse, in al-Ubeidiya town, east of Bethlehem city.
As for the other five cases, she identified two of them as residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shufat, another as a resident of the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Issawiya, another as a resident of Beit Safafa and another as a resident of the Jerusalem neighborhood of al-Tur.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the total number of confirmed patients has increased to 507, with almost 64 percent of the cases residing in Jerusalem governorate.
