RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Two new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases were confirmed in the West Bank on Sunday evening raising total in Palestine to 322, government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem said.
Milhem said during the daily evening briefing that the two new cases were of a boy and his sister in the town of Yatta, in Hebron governorate, who contracted the disease from their father who works in Israel.
In addition to the 322 cases in the West Bank, 111 cases have been reported among the native Palestinian community in occupied Jerusalem. However, the number in occupied Jerusalem is not final or official due to lack of exact information from the Israeli authorities about the city’s Palestinian population.
