RAMALLAH, Thursday, April 16, 2020 (WAFA) – A rise in temperature is expected today to become 3°C above the season’s average with rain and thunderstorms expected at night on most districts, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active, with medium to high sea waves.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 23°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 17°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant drop in temperature is expected on Friday to become 4°C below the annual average with a chance of light rain on most areas that subsides at night.

Temperature rises again on Saturday to become 3°C above the annual average and 5°C above the average on Sunday, said the PMD.
