Palestine confirms new coronavirus case

 

RAMALLAH, Monday, April 13, 2020 (WAFA) – Palestine Monday late night confirmed a new novel coronavirus case, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the occupied territories to 310.

Government spokesman Ibrahim Milhem announced in a press statement that the new case was of a 27-year-old Palestinian man, who works as a house painter in Israel.

The man, identified as a resident of Hebron city, returned to his house and placed himself in home quarantine on Friday morning. He showed some of the COVID-19 virus symptoms Monday morning, and, subsequently, was tested. His test result was positive.

Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the total number of confirmed patients has increased to 310, including 36 in Jerusalem city, and 58 cases have fully recovered, accounting for 21 percent of the total confirmed cases.
