RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 11, 2020 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today that a Palestinian expatriate has died from the novel COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the United States.
This brings up the number of deaths among the Palestinian communities in the diaspora to 25, according to the ministry. Plus, it said the number of coronavirus patients among the Palestinian diaspora communities has risen to 614, including 379 in the United States alone.
In the meantime, the foreign ministry said its teams have resolved the issues of all Palestinians who were stranded at international airports in many countries as a result of the ongoing global crisis.
In addition, the issue of the Palestinian students abroad who were stranded as a result of not receiving money from their parents at home, due to the current halt of international money transfer services, was also resolved in cooperation with the Monetary Fund and the Palestinian National Fund, the ministry added.
