RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 11, 2020 (WAFA) – The cold low pressure front that affected the region yesterday is expected to continue today as well with cloudy to partially cloudy skies, cold conditions and scattered rain and occasional thunderstorms on most district that is expected to subside at night.
Temperature is expected to be 7°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD), with northwesterly to westerly, moderate to active wind and medium to high sea waves.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 13°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A significant rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, but remains below the annual average.
A further rise in temperature is expected on Monday and Tuesday to become around the season’s average.
PMD warns people against slippery roads and low horizontal visibility today.
