JENIN, Thursday, April 9, 2020 (WAFA) – A Palestinian prisoner serving an almost 19-year sentence in Israel has just completed 17 years behind bars, today said Muntaser Samoor, head of the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

He told WAFA that Majdi Abu al-Wafa, from Jenin city, was sentenced to 18 years and eight months for resisting the Israeli occupation.

Abu al-Wafa was denied family visits several times and was regularly moved from one prison to another. He also was kept in solitary confinement on several occasions during this captivity.
