RAMALLAH, Wednesday, April 01, 2020 (WAFA) – A significant drop in temperature is expected today with cloudy and cold conditions and a chance of scattered rain on most areas, especially in the north, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is westerly to southwesterly, moderate to active, gusty at times. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 18°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected for Thursday as moderate conditions prevail and slight chance of rain on the northern districts.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Friday, which significantly rises again on Saturday.

The PMD warns of the drop in temperature today and low horizontal visibility.
