RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 28, 2020 (WAFA) – Today is the first day of Summer Time, also referred to as Daylight Saving Time, in Palestine as clocks were advanced at 2:00 a.m. this morning by 60 minutes.
Summer Time is expected to end on October 24 as clocks are turned back one hour.
Palestine’s two neighboring countries, Jordan and Israel, changed to Daylight Saving Time yesterday.
Summer Time is adopted worldwide as a way to save energy with longer daylight hours.
